Off to the Judging Panel
Congratulations to everyone who submitted a project! What's next?
Judging Stage One
Submissions were locked in on December 4th at 3 pm PT and then Stage One of judging commences. The review team will review your submission materials to ensure they are complete, eligible and meet a baseline level of viability to move to Stage Two.
Judging Stage Two
The submissions that pass Stage One will then be sent to a Judging Panel! Those judges will review submission materials and score your project according to each of the below judging criteria from 1 to 5 (5 being the best).
- Implementation
- Does the project demonstrate quality software development and use of the required tools?
- Quality of the Idea
- How creative and unique is the project? Does the project make creative use of data? Does it delight the audience?
- Value
- How widely useful is the solution to other organizations or users? How easy is it to use? How accessible is it?
Please note that the judges are not required to download or test your project and will depend heavily on the presentation of your project in action within your video.
Judges will be busy reviewing submissions until December 13th so sit back and relax; you've done an amazing job getting to this point in the hackathon!
